Anonymous asked: Hey! I just wanted to get your opinion on this although it may not exactly be a "Build" question. With Cho'gath lately, I've been focusing more on using my Q on grouped minions rather than my opponent champ in the beginning of the game, instead just hitting my opponent when they're along the crowded minions. It's been working well for me lately with the pro being that I push and harass incredibly well and fast, but what do you think are the flaws in a plan like this?
Flaws
- Even with your passive you’ll go oom pretty quickly and be an easy target.
- The person you’re laning against will know that skill in on cool down and has nothing to fear if they decide to attack you. (if you’re just using it on minions alone)
- Pushing isn’t a good thing if they have a decent jungler or mid lane because you’ll get ganked if you go too far out.
- If they catch on they’ll know how to bait it and avoid the knock up.
If you’re getting them and the minions at the same time and you’re not pushing too hard it shouldn’t be a problem. Early game though you should try not to deal damage to minions unless you’re getting last hits so that you don’t end up overextended.
