I don’t understand people sometimes. Soraka is blaming me for this loss because I just farmed in lane. She blames me for only doing slightly better than MF instead of stomping her into the ground. She didn’t say anything about Morde feeding Tryn 4 kills in 15 minutes and not calling mias which lost us mid lane as well. Nope, all my fault for not doing anything but farm.
Edit: I was 4|1|2 at the end of laning and my first trip back to base I had over 3k gold.

I got attack speed boots and my next item was going to be phantom dancer. This was only a 25-30 minute game.
PD is better as 2nd item, because attack speed and crit are multiplicative stats and damage is additive. Plus, you activate your passive faster with attack speed.
The only hard CC on our team was Ahris charm. My traps can snare and Shaco can fear with boxes but that’s only if the enemy walks into them. Chances are I’m not going to get to sit still and auto attack because Ahris charm can’t stop both a fed Tryn and a fed Udyr who are rushing straight for me. I was going to take some damage in fights because our team didn’t have anybody who could stop them from doing it so life steal and I wasn’t going to get to stand still and auto attack constantly so I’d rather do more damage when I do get to attack and with my Q and R.
Also my skills as an AD carry (which I have admitted and will continue to admit is my worst role) aren’t the point of this post. The point is that Soraka was calling me bad because I was farming in lane instead of being super aggressive.
But wait. Aren’t you like… as the ranged ad carry… your whole entire team’s damage? And don’t forget caitlyn does NOT have an attack speed buff on ANY of her abilities so you DO need that wonderful Attack Speed. Sometimes farming isn’t the best choice. And sometimes going, CRIT-CRIT-CRIT like a bitch with PD is the best damage. Let’s try to be open with other blog’s suggestions please? Try it before you say anything about it.
Of course you need attack speed, but you need sustain and damage too and I couldn’t buy everything. How is this not being open to suggestions and how would I try it? It’s not like I can go back to the same situation and buy Phantom Dancer to see how it would work.
If all of your damage is tied up in one squishy champion on a team with no CC you’re screwed. The ranged AD carry is not the entire teams damage. There’s an AP carry, a jungler, and a solo top as well(in current meta). Two of which should be doing decent damage and one of which should be tanky while still doing enough damage to be a threat.
